On Tuesday, 30th September 2025, the atmosphere at Doveland Wumba Primary School Hall was filled with colour, excitement, and patriotic pride as our pupils and teachers came together to celebrate Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary.

The event featured vibrant cultural displays, poetry recitations, songs, traditional dances, and creative performances — all beautifully presented by our young learners. Dressed in colourful attires representing the nation’s diverse cultures, our pupils showcased the unity and strength that make Nigeria truly special.

The celebration was not only entertaining but also educational, as pupils learned about the nation’s journey, heroes, and the importance of peace, hard work, and patriotism. The  CHIEF (DR) MRS. JUSTINA ULUNMA CHUKWU (FNAE), Executive Director, Doveland Group of Schools  encouraged the children to believe in Nigeria and to grow into responsible citizens who will contribute positively to the country’s future.
