On Saturday, 15th November 2025, Doveland Jabi Primary School held an inspiring cultural celebration themed “Fusion à Deux – One World, Many Cultures.” The event beautifully highlighted the essence of diversity by bringing together the vibrant traditions of Nigerian and French cultures in an engaging and colourful showcase.

The programme featured an exciting mix of performances and cultural displays from different Jabi Primary classes, each presenting a creative blend of traditional outfits, cultural presentations, and delicious dishes representing both nations. Pupils graced the event in stunning Nigerian and French attire — from elegant agbada and ankara designs to timeless French fashion — transforming the school environment into a lively cultural spectacle.

Guests enjoyed a rich variety of traditional meals, including popular Nigerian favourites and well-loved French cuisines. This culinary experience not only celebrated the uniqueness of each culture but also emphasized the value of unity through food, creativity, and shared moments.

“Fusion à Deux” was designed to be more than just a cultural display; it served as an educational platform that encouraged pupils to appreciate diversity, embrace global perspectives, and promote mutual respect. The atmosphere was energetic and filled with enthusiasm as parents, teachers, and pupils came together to honour the beauty of cultural harmony.

The Executive Director, Dr. (Mrs.) Justina Ulunma Chukwu (FNAE), graced the occasion with her presence, inspiring the entire school community.
