As part of our commitment to nurturing responsible and visionary leaders, Doveland High School organized a two-day Prefect Workshop and Leadership Training held on Thursday, 17th and Friday, 18th October 2025.

The workshop was designed to equip our newly appointed prefects with essential leadership, communication, and teamwork skills needed to carry out their responsibilities effectively. Through interactive sessions, group activities, and practical discussions, the students gained valuable insights on leadership ethics, emotional intelligence, time management, and the importance of service-oriented leadership.

Facilitated by experienced educators and guest speakers, the training encouraged the prefects to lead with integrity, empathy, and excellence — values that reflect the Doveland spirit. The highlight of the event was an inspiring session on “Leading by Example,” where students learned that true leadership is about influence, not position.
